Is Fax Still Relevent?

Many have heralded the death of faxing but if that were so, why are the number of documents faxed each day steadily increasing?

Fax moments in history

So how long has faxing been around? Join us on a journey of nearly two centuries of electronic image transmissions.

Why staplers matter

Much the same as faxing has been around, so have staplers. Sure, both over the years have transformed and become simpler to use and better designed to fit our needs more closely. It is this evolution in faxing over the last decade that has brought it into increasing usage which has fulfilled a larger number of business requirements and needs.

Just one example is the health industry. Due in a large part to HIPAA and the Affordable Care Act also known as Obama Care, Faxing has gained more focus and visibility in hospitals and clinics around the United States as well as in other countries. The ability of Enterprise wide Fax Servers and their increased abilities to meet HIPAA and other government mandated standards has spearheaded an increase in the number and type of documents being transmitted and shared in a safe Fax environment.
